First Aid for Opioid Poisoning Emergencies

In the First Aid for Opioid Poisoning Emergencies course, you will become knowledgeable and confident in how to respond to an opioid poisoning emergency, including how to administer nasal naloxone. You will learn more about opioids and naloxone and how they affect the body and will explore ways to reduce the influence of stigma. You will receive a free nasal naloxone kit upon completion of the course. This course is designed for:
ONLINE LEARNING FORMAT: SELF-DIRECTED Learn at your own pace by working through the training materials independently online. Duration: approximately 60 minutes, depending on the individual.

 2023 has become a year of new beginnings for our company! We deleted our previous website and Facebook page in December 2022 for various reasons, and have been hard at work getting our new look back online.
Whether you are returning to our company or learning about us for the first time, our goal is to be seen as a more personable company....after all, if you read our About Us page you'll know this company was founded on a personal story. We have had the opportunity to interact with thousands of people over the years, many of whom have shared laughs, tears, triumphs, struggles, and more with us. We consider ourselves honored to have such amazing people engage our company on a regular basis. We consider ourselves even more honored to be able to share some of those moments in photos and/or stories online for others. In fact, if you have interacted with our company and we have managed to leave a positive impact on your life, we would LOVE to hear about it! Email our office the details, and if we have your permission we will share it with others on our online platforms. February 14th, is a particularly unforgettable day for us. It is the anniversary of the death of a loved one who inspired what PMTE is today. For us, it is the needed reminder of how we need to strive to BE the difference. During this season, we like to re-evaluate if we are being for others what was missed in the hospital room that day we spoke about in our About Us page. There are lots of companies out there providing similar services as PMTE, however, our hope is that people see something uniquely different in us! If you are reading this, thank you for taking the time. If you have engaged with our company in one manner or another, thank you!
